Like the ‘Doron’ in the Savoie and the ‘Dora’ in Italy, the word ‘Dranse’ come from a Celtic root meaning ‘torrent’
Regardless of its volume, it is both powerful and sporty but remains within the reach of non-specialists. With its wide bed and well worn rocks, it offers excellent Hydrospeed and Rafting.
Some of the rapids you can ride are the le S, la Maxi Vague, l’Escalier, la Pile, la Passerelle and many others.
