While these are 2 different boats, they are of one family and Ecolorado Rafting guides supervise them in the same session. This enables you to swap during the session and therefore enjoy them both.
There are 2 people in a Canoraft, which for some will more reassuring. You will each have single paddle and you have to learn to coordinate. In the Airyak, you’ll be alone and will have a double paddle.
The river Arve in Passy, near Chamonix and Sallanches and the river Giffre between Sixt Fer à Cheval and Samoens, lend themselves perfectly to this activity.
On the Arve you can also choose to descend in your own mini-raft which has 4 places and no guide on board!
