Rafting Haute-Savoie in the Alps

Equipped from head to toe with wetsuits, jackets, shoes, helmets and paddles, you will have a blast in the torrents of the Alps in the Haute Savoie. As with all of our equipment, our rafts are carefully chosen for their quality.

With crews of only 6/7 per raft and led by your guide, you can ride down the Giffre in Samoens, the Arve in Passy, the Dranse in Thonon and the Dora Baltea in the Aosta Valley.

The routes are adjusted according to the season, but whether you’re sporty or a family it’s still 100% fun. The Ecolorado Rafting Team will instruct you, reassure you, motivate you and lead you down rivers that will deliver an unforgettable experience.

We use the first kilometers to gain familiarity with the river and get you used to working as a team.

Then, when we arrive at the entrance of the Gorges des Tines, we are ready for the strongest and most exciting part of the descent. But that’s not all… The route becomes more playful. We moor the raft and you can jump from the rocks and swim before we get back in and continue.

Sporty session: 7km

Rodeo session: We’ll cross the gorge twice and play with waves and rollers
Duration: 2h – 2h30, 3h30 including travel and preparation.

An ideal river for a first time trip in a raft, a family outing or a team building event. As well as teaching you about the river, the waves and the rapids at Saint Martin’s bridge, you’ll find the experience will get you hooked on rafting!

After the precise and comprehensive instructions from your guide, the river starts fast and strong downstream of Pré Saint Didier. It then becomes wider with a series of less powerful passages bringing us to the end of the first section.

Depending on the speed of the river and your level of ability and your motivation, we will choose which run to take. From a possible 5 or 6 runs, we’ll choose 2 more.

The day is shaped by volume of water, obstacles, tactics and quick fire instructions. THIS IS RAFTING!!

Duration : 3 separate runs

€150/person if we have 2 crews including transfer from Passy €200 if unfortunatly we have only one crew (for meals please contact us)

Conditions : Good level of fitness. Previous rafting/whitewater sports experience if possible. Minimum age 16.

This river is technical from the start. Your guide will be precise in their instructions and will ensure that the crew is working in unison before taking you in the slalom basin. This is Rafting that is both powerful and sporting, but still within the reach of non-specialists. With its wide bed and beautiful, well worn rocks, the Dranse offers all that we love from a river.

Classic Descent : 7km
€48/person. + €10/person for transport from Samoëns
Rodeo session : This trip will give you extra adrenaline! We start from a Roman bridge in a beautiful gorge and ride a succession of rapids including the well-known ‘’la Pissette’’. The classic descent follows it.
